    Default My Khyber's AC died!

I have my Khyber's AC dead. Mechanic checked it here in atd and told me that compressor is dead too. I refilled gas last year and it lasted hardly 2 months.

Initially AC was working v good, but one evening one of the pipes got busted due to friction with the body and all gas escaped. So the issue started. I went to this mechanic, he repaired pipe and filled the gas. But the cooling started dying after say 2 weeks.

I revisited him he put some more gas and AC worked for another 2-3 weeks. Finally it was just and fan.Mechanic went abroad and winters came in atd. Now when I revisited him he told me that there is no gas and after checking compressor with adapter he told me that it needs to be replaced.

I have a v v busy schedule, I cant get much time out. SO need sincere advice what should I do. Mechanic told me that Kabli sanden will cost 4500 and he can arrange it. Also it will need foundation worth 800 and other charges!!!

    So what you guys suggest.!!!

BTW, my car's AC was so good that in monsoon I used to see fog coming out of it!!!

I am also going to get one soon, i am looking for Sanden and now SUCCESS name comes up.

I am living in Islamabad but i am from Abbottabad and I know the mechanics there are really bad at what they do, so brother on a weekend come to pindi sadar, here you will find good mechanics.

I recommend MR. COOL in G8 markaz, I usually go to him for AC issues, he is a bit expensive but knows his work.

so good luck and wish me luck too, coz in abbottabad u can survive summers without AC but in pindi/isl its burning.....
    lol.... imagine about lahore
