    Default Khyber Check Light

    my cousin bought Khyber 94.

Its Oil check light comes on when idling. The moment some accelerator is pressed its gone. What could be the reason>?

There is no oil reduction or smoke of any kind!

    Anyone !!

    Thanks!

DAMN - do NOT drive that car for even a meter.

oil pressure loss - check oil pressure with pressure gauge immediately, and repair/replace oil pump or parts as necessary.

Also get the oil check light checked. In these old cars some time lose connection can also do this.

But dont take any risk if its a bad oil pump it will take seconds to kill your engine.

Not sure about khayber but normally its near to where oil filter is installed. There will be a single wire connected to it.

can any one help me on the same issue.

recently, i bought a khyber 95 car, and drive the car few times. for the last few days, the car is parked in the garage and not in use. day before yesterday when i try to start the car, the oil check light turn on as i move the key in ignition to start the car but at the same time the battery light also turn on (as the battery of the car is not working properly and drain very quickly) and the car do not start. i've checked the oil knob under bonnet and the level is a little higher from the bottom hole of the knob.

another thing i forgot to mention is that 2 to 3 days before i spotted an oil leakage under bonnet near the place where the oil knob is installed.

is this low oil indication is because of loose oil seal ????

    what do i do ??????

engine oil is checked using the dipstick. The round knob on cam cover is used to add up the engine oil., if you see oil near that knob it is OVER FILLED.

again i would recommend using the genuine oil filter in your vehicle. Battery check light is due to faulty battery jump start the engine and leave it running, check battery add up distilled water, IF it is ok it will take up the enough charge in 15 minutes. to restart the vehicle again. If it fail to give engine a cold start replace the battery check up the generator aka alternator
