Milled....Honda ones milled at outters for khyber C.V joints
We were using the original khyber ones but as soon as the launch control came into play it twisted one off...

but you obviously do not have equal lengths anymore and if you are using the halfshaft joint - the RHS one would be really short.. - You could have opted for Nissan March/Sunny hub assys and used them as their bearings are far more HD than the suzuki SA310 ones, you get bigger brakes too. The 1.6L editions of swift sedan had those hubs.

We are using the halfshaft....and both are almost of the same length since the engine is perfectly centred(well by perfectly I mean where it was designed to be in a bay)...as far as hubs are concerned we had many options but we tried are best to keep the car stock...just to see how much beating could it take....it is holding on even after daily tuning abuse and all....But we are planning for ventilated discs as the original ones glow red hot under heavy braking....

The issue with shoehorning such a big motor into a small and narrow car is that even with halfshafts - the swing angle of the axles gets out of range even with small movements - causing undue stress on the joints. I have seen some frankenstien projects like this but they usually make an engine cradle first, with wide stance using long axles - then kind of install the cradle to the car.

Im also seeing that you hanged the transmission mount on the factory timing mount, Ideally you should have made brackets that would bolt doughnut round mounts into the metal work along with a couple of adjustable dog bones in the middle to control the engine's rotational torque. (like the old F20A engine accord had at front) - the reason Im saying this is because the sheetmetal in this car is light and your engine is already hanging in front like an Audi - it would torque off the factory welds - If you look at how the GTi is braced at the chassis legs to firewall welds - you'll know what Im saying.

Props to you for this, but this has been done to death on the G100 daihatsus in Pakistan, a far cooler project would be to cut out the rear, and make a subframe and engine cradle to make a midship khyber. - with a wide stance.

Noops I am not using the factory timing mount.....the Tranny has its own mount just on top of the frame....as for the axels I moved the anti sway/helper rod forward...that pretty much got the axels in line well atleast within the angle one would expect see in a normal car....Yes that did change the kingpin since the rod is pulling stuff forward but I noticed that the car is easy enuf to steer and yes the kingpin change really brings back the steering back to center real quick :p

    @ Mehroz
B18C Type R hatch sounds like a good idea... Lets race one to see how fast things are....
And yes Adeel Shah is doing great and working hard....mashAllah...."good setup try":p
Yes when I was tuning the B20 cultus I did notice the cracks which started appearing in the frame....but they were due to something else...mainly because of the foundations, I was always against the way that engine was sitting in the bay....anyways those were good old days...
