    Default Khyber Pick Problem

    AOA WW,

Copying the problem from another thread of @typeracer, as I got exactly the same problem.

"My khyber got missing problem on both petrol and cng.
The problem started few days back when I switched my car from cng to petrol and at that time the car didn't start then I switched it back to cng and it started missing and also huge knocking as well."

Alongwith this I am also facing pick problem, the pick of the car is very less (especially on steepy roads) and it remain in between 70 to 80.

Waiting for your expert opinions for the rectification / resolution of this problem.

    Regards,
    Kashif Rafiq

Waliakum Assalam,it seems when you swithed it back to cng from petrol there must be some petrol in the carburator which got mixed with cng due to which car started missing at that time.

And for pick may be cng tuning is not well or your clucth plate or pressure plate are weak.

Well I am just giving opinions from my mind, experts are there to help you out.

    jazak Allah.

as far as CNg goes....you just need to tune it ......even in bad condition ....they work very well

    for petrol
    can be alot of reasons
1..... if u are using petrol after long period..then carb needs cleaning

2..... petrol at few pumps like 1 in F-11 mix water and alot more things ...so you may have some dust particles or impurities which can be reason of bad fuel mixture(get it washed and yous should get it done atleast after 5 years

3...... no pick then clutch plate needs work but make sure your engine is running perfect fine..just do a CR test from any mechanic .....will charge you like 100 rupees for that

    1) I am using it on both Petrol and CNG Regularly, so don't think this is the problem.

    2) You are suggesting for Carburettor Cleanup ?

    3) Can you further elaborate the CR Test, how the test is performed ?

as you are saying while switching back to cng it was missing... once my khyber got same problem, when i was switching back to cng petrol was not ending from carburetor, so i suggest there is VALVE of mixture under air filter near carburetor, that controls the flow of petrol, when it stops working, it need to be set at off position, so petrol should not come to carb..
you might be thinking how can i use on petrol but while switching back to petrol it will work fine...

see second pic below, make its position to exactly 90 degree i.e Vertical, and then try

agree with what Manak said..... u may have switching issue

if cng issue is resolved then u have petrol mixture ...but if its happening on both then check if proper switching of fuel is happening
    @CR test

its compression ration test.......... there is an tester which checks the level of CR per cylender.... very easy and quick check up...dont try yr self ...... ...its done through plug area
