Default Car isnt starting on petrol.

I have a suzuki khyber. Its not working on petrol since last night. I use petrol almost daily in between while using cng. But last night cng ended nd after then it refused to start on petrol. During the process of starting, battery went down. Used dhikkka process but no work. Finally brought it home after tying with a frienda car. Inspcted in morning. Fuel filter is empty although there is almost 20 ltr ptrol. Filter contains reddish brown mud. I have cleaned my fuel tank two months back nd changed fuel filter after that. I tried to suck petrol but petrol isnt coming. In night during my travel back to home i tried many times to make it start by putting in 2nd gear nd leaving ckutch. It tends to start some time but dont take acceleration. Nd final thing. There was petrol smell in bonet even bonnet closed.

there is another pipe coming from tappet cover and going to the air filter box, maybe also branching to the engine block, can you get a pic of that too, i suspect that has also been messed with

the pipes need to be reconnected properly

the rubber ring at the carburetor throat also looks like it needs replacement.

if you still have those steel pipes you should re connect them, these green ones probably won't last as long

Mechanic didnt removed anything. Its like that from day ist i think. Bec i dint let my mechanic touched carb yet. It was last touched nd set by badar butterfly wala at chah sultan. green pipes are added for electric fuel pump. The pipes that were removed were of rubber not of steel.

In mornin i tested, removed green pipe from the carb end. Attached to bottle. Started car on gas. No petrol was coming. Then press the cng button to the state where both lights of petrol nd gas lits. At that state i thnk ptrol shld b coming. But it came for a second nd then no petrol. When i look into fuel filter, it was only 20-30% filled wid petrol nd pump was trying to get it out nd wasnt successful.

alot of pipes are missing, yaani alot of your carburetor's functions are disabled, you need to buy new pipe and connect them YOURSELF by comparing with another car. that should make things alot better

that is normal, the state when both the lights on switch are on is to make sure that the petrol left in the carburetor be burnt, thats why it eventually dies if you keep driving with both lights on.

@margallar i thnk when both lights are on it means at that time petrol also starts coming with cng. Before that only gas was on and after pressing one more time, gas will b cutt off nd only petrol will b coming........

i am not so sure, maybe confirm with someone else, but I think it isn't the cause of your problem.

The missing pipes are an issue though, and a lot of them are missing

I think the dashpot is not connected, the car must be dropping rpm rapidly as soon as you leave the accelerator

you see those saucer shaped things around the carburetor which have nipples to fit pipes, those are called vacumm pods, they use vacuum to move levers and activate different parts of the carburetor.

the dashpot is a vacuum pod connected to the butterfly, it uses vacuum to slowly release the butterfly when you release the accelerator. that way it doesn't drop rpm too fast or does not shut down

other vacuums connections are necessary else they shouldn't be there in the first place, in the first pic where one pipe is connected to the same thing from both ends should be connected to the vacuum pod above it in the same pic and there is a cap on other side(where pipe is currently connected). similarly dashpot should be connected, it'll smoothen gear shifts and prevent sudden jolt when u lift ur foot off the accelerator, it is the vacuum pod right to the carb in 3rd pic near fuel pump, the one behind the carb(towards windshield) is for ac or some other function as per my knowledge, ac idle is increased by a solenoid near it.

Without those vacuum pipe connections your car will run, but it won't run as good as it is capable of, don't leave them like that, fix them.
