    Hi..

No Offence...but I disagree to my brother who rate LIANA 6/10

Reason is his comparison had a Conflict itself.

He say "Suspension is bit soft for PAK roads" That a bad thing

    While adding Comfortable as +ive...

My question is how could be a Car with HARD Damper setting or Hard Suspension be Comfortable....

Also there is no problem regarding acceleration..Its only matter of proper tunning, tappet adjustment..

    Acceleration is 0-100 km/hr is 10sec...Precise...STOCK

If slightly modified...like..Intakes and exhaust...I believe it could be reduced to 9 sec...

Come up with something really good against LIANA ..other wise i have Lots of things to Say GOOD about LIANA...

^well some ppl like hard suspension some prefer soft. generally soft is good when driving over bumps at low speed. hard one is suitable for going faster over minor bumps.

I have a Liana RXi FF CNG and it has done 36K Kms. Alhamdolillah no problems. Changed gear oil today and will change the front brake pads tomorrow. Have been changing engine oil religiously at 5K Km intervals.

I came back from a trip to Murree, Nathia gali and Patriata and immensely enjoyed the drive, even off the road. We had a 2004 City as well and it could not catch up with my Liana anywhere. Did 2.5 Rs/Km with A/C.

just curious why did you change the gear oil at 36K?
Drive carefully! Remember, it's not only a car that can be recalled by it's maker.

liana has the best interior(Y), but exterior is really dumb. It cant compete with in terms of looks with city and XLI/GLI. This model has been long enough in the market, it should be changed now.

no big issues about this car other than following
    Exterior shape not attractive
Suspension is of very poor quality as compared to baleno
and the same problem just like in baleno "COIL Problem"..
i dont know why suzuki ruined their cars by installing poor quality coils and on bad location...Baleno,Liana,APV all three cars have their coils jsut over the Tappet area of engine which make the coils very hot and their performance is worst affected...other than this this car is good

The exterior shape is far better than City in my opinion. Even the new city's back is really out of proportion. Liana has a high profile body but is at least balanced.

There is no coil problem in Liana, The coils in Liana are covered under a plastic lid with a rubber gasket to keep the water out. In any caase, high pressure water should not be thrown at the negine. We, in Pakistan tend to ignore the manufacturer's warnings.

For your information, there are many cars including the civic which have their coils on top of the engine. The problem is not with coils heating up, it is with water getting inside and shorting those out.

    Peace!

I have a liana sice 2006 ,Rx gen CNG .ive done 77000 kms without any major problems.Initially liana had problems with cng especially reduced pick in 2nd gear with ac.My local dealer got my ecu reprogrammed and the problem was somewhat solved.2007 and later lianas had reprogrammed ecu so they fair better. The newone2009 has no such issues and is a good value for money. The repute of liana got dented in 2006 as most of them were bought by Rent a car owners who didnt maintained it properly.

^now would any owner of civic need to get its ECU programmed? yes ofcourse but there would be way less than those of liana. thats the problem. reliability. liana owners often complain about their car's pick getting lower. one such person is my cousin who owns a liana.

lol - anyone recall Saif Nadeem Kawasaki on the same issue - as long as there were showrooms no one bought them - because the local mechanics said they were too weird to work on, once they closed down - the prices went to thrice the original..

Liana is a nice car to tool around in - every car is strange so is this,
