    Default Liana Pros Help Required!

    Assalam Alaikum
    Hi all PW members!
wanted some serious pros and experienced ones advice on this!
well i have a liana rxi 2006 model car which previously was driven alot by an uncle on highways due to his profession!
well the point is now that i have this car, it at first started to drop rpm to 500 while idleing n ending up very under powered! later the problem got worse and the cars rpm used to drop down just i pulled my leg off the accelerator and just at 500 it the car shut off!
than i started to drive the car on petrol even hi-octane and it drove "Well". few days back the problem started to occur again on petrol too and although not underpowered but as i pull my leg off the gas it drops and shuts off
    ..................
    NOTE:
1- this just not happens when the car is at rest but during city driving just as i pull off the gas!

2- when engine is cold it performs normal on petrol and problem starts occuring once it turns hot!

Tomoro i will get detailed inspection from suzuki but before on my persistance they told me at instant check that there can be any or many problem!

Now Pioneers out here pls help me on this if you are aware of it!
    thanx

    Clean the Mass Airflow Sensor.

When this sensor is having problems it can cause the engine to do all sorts of strange things, and can be very hard to diagnose.

This sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine. It is an important part of the calculation that the engine management computer uses to regulate the fuel / air mixture to the engine.

But fortunately the fix can be very cheap and easy.

The Mass Airflow Sensor is located in the tube connecting the throttle body to the air filter housing. On General Motors cars, this is usually held in place by 2 simple hose clamps.
With the engine off, disconnect the wiring going to the sensor and remove the tube.

@syed4: So how did you get your car to work properly on Petrol? Did you get it tuned or some other work done on it, and from where? Might be helpful to rest of the Liana users at PW.
