Thread: Suzuki Liana ECU problems

    Default Suzuki Liana ECU problems

    i was having some problems like rpm going down and up itself, ac sometimes working sometimes not working and the engine gets hot sometimes aswell. my mechanic told me that the problem is with the ecu. plz help me guys and tell me how and from where to get it fixed from and whats the price of a new ecu for japanese liana. waiting for your helpful replies. Thanks in advance.

    there are some places that can repair them too. But they dont just die like that - normal expectant life is at least 10 years.

    first try by unpluging the battery for 5 minutes and then see and if problem i still their then go to mechanic.

    the battery unplug does not reset - its like a chrysler ECU, PAIN IN THE XXX <-- put your imagination to work.

    my wild imagination is actively working, and oops if that ha sto be reset like chrysler,
    means every thing has to be reset and after that driver has to keep an eye on every possible change in car behaviour.

    yes - and the ECU goes into "DRIVE" mode after about 100 kms of a certain type of drive cycle - otherwise it completely oversees whatever the oxygen sensor is giving out.
