That is why, I don't like them. No matter who, I feel somewhat same for all.
Why didn't you opt for SanPak instead, I think they have an authorized outlet there at Lahore also.

Anyways, I hope your LIANA must still be beating the heat very well :-)

3S are very unpredictable in that each dealer has their own strengths and weaknesses. Unfortunately, you have to experience it to know it. Im sorry I couldnt find the page sooner as my eco was acting up.

My experience with Master motors was somewhat satisfactory.

Suzuki dealer ships are the worst....
They dont even have parts mostly.

I remember back in 2002 went there to get wiper rubber replace...
It was not available first had to come back the next day and to my surprise the guy took 45 min to install one
    RIP

    AOA,

I am facing a trouble with my car's breaks. Recently i changed the front brake disks and they are making noise to make the noise disappear i have to push the paddle slightly.
Anyhow besides this the main issue is Sometimes the break dont work . The paddle gets stiff if i push it suddenly with full force and the break dont really work.
Tried different mechanics but the fault is not yet located! does any one has faced similar situation?

Did you faced any breaking issues prior to the pad replacement? If no change them asap with genuine or japanese at least and also bleed the whole system for air.
For backfire issue please provide more detail about the cng is it ff cng or aftermarket cng.

I also faced this issue prior to the replacement after which I changed the discs but then the situation got even worse. the new discs started making too much noise. and after one and a half months i changed the discs again. the discs I got are of the best quality after the Genuine ones. probably Koren made according to the seller but costed me only 1700 front and back (pretty cheap).
I have also bled the whole system for air a bit better than before but still its not resolved to fullest.

    The cng is after market.

My liana LXI just lost its pick even on Petrol the car moves like a turtle in 1st and 2nd gear and with AC too much slow i want to just bang my head in the steering of my car and ask her please gain a little speed.Someone on this thread posted that he got shims changed of his Liana and car came back to speed.Do u all agree should i go for a shim change as my Liana clocked 1,50000km.

Price of Shims and who will install them in my Liana in Rawalpindi.

Tell me about some good mechanic or should i have it done from 3s Suzuki.
Money differs from an automobile or mistress in being equally important to those who have it and those who do not.

car_bus2008! Do you really thing by bangging your head against the steering will bring any change in the pick up of the car??? Jokes aside get it checked from I-9 Suzuki motors...if shims needs any adjustment you will have to go to a workshop (a kahradia) that is right across the Perwadi police station...they check the all the shims and will grind or replace according to what is required/needed...i think they will charged around 1200 to 1800 for that (the charges are of last year)

Oh by the way...just for the sake of fuel consumption record...traveled back to Islamabad from Lahore via M2...it was a high speed drive, somehow left pretty late in the evening
    Total distance traveled was 380km
Average speed was 140km (was less in salt mines range).
    Fuel consumed was 33l
Fuel average was 11.5km/l (Ac was on thought out) - not good at all

If you drive within the speed limit 120km/h ...the consumption is pretty good, mine does around 15+km/l but if you exceed 130km/h...it drops a lot.

But for the anti Liana gang...at even at 140-150km/h speed it was behaving like a Lizard By the way these cars are not meant to drive at this speed...I think driving over 130km/h speed is not fair to these cars and yourself.

A strange question comes to my mind. Why do I see so few Lxis on the road? Was it never popular? Or was the feature set so similar to Rxi that people preferred the latter? Where are all the Lxis gone?

Because it was more expensive and people wanted liana because of lower price, I guess...

Hmm. . . I haven't really heard a lot of complaints regarding the Lxi, though. Perhaps it was more reliable than the Rxi? I don't know, just guessing.

Even RXI is power packed just Alloy rims and ABS are missing with minor cosmetic things like matching doors handle and side mirrors fog lights. Most of the people don't care about these things when they are buying a new car, that's what i think.

I have seen more XLI then GLI.

True. Its like the Honda City versions. I never got why I should pick one over the other. Anyway, trying to get my car to shine. Tried Turtle Wax (I have three children, and that means I cannot afford expensive detailing sh!%) Metallic, and its good. But I think the paint is 'dead'. Is there anything I can do short of getting it repainted? We don't want to sell this car ever, so resale value is not an issue.

PS. I have a dark blue Liana. I don't like this colour, but it was the only one available to me at the time.

Get a treatment of Rubbing and Polish from a right professional. This will clear away the faded layer and sort of renew the look.
After that start taking care of the painted surface with proper waxes timely to preserve the look.

In Turtle too, the Platinum series waxes have very good results (I think that's their premier range and not that pricey as well). Secondly they are really pretty easy to apply being liquid.
