How to check valve lash (clearance) of this Engine.
Money differs from an automobile or mistress in being equally important to those who have it and those who do not.
Have left the car for a day to 3S people (IG Motors, as I had a free Car Service and General Checkup voucher from a promotion). And what, they messed the car big time!
Now my car is giving jerks, backfires, shutting down in pick up, lagging like hell! was running short on time due to aftaar, thats why didnt bug them again. These highly intelligent and technical people have most probably messed up the coil.
One of my car's Coil did have a problem, as it was slightly broken in its assembly where it used to get fixed with the insulator. My mechanic has fixed and sealed that with silicon temporarily, and it was not leaking any current for a long time. This I had told these people also, to not to detach the coil out of the place as you might not be able to fit that again. But who cares!
Now I think, if they have tried to detach that forcefully the rest of the assembly might have also got broken.
So I will be needing another one. Please suggest which one to buy? Chinese ones or in Used? And expeced cost?
I cant opt for original new one due to its cost.
If there is also any known brand in aftermarket then do let me know please...
I need to do it today, as car is totally unable to run over AC and CNG now.
i have heard bad reviews about IG motors any way, i have replaced mine with genuine one and they cost me 8k 3 years back still running fine. I have read some where in the thread a guy bought some coil from korangi he was pretty much satisfied with them they price was 3k as far as i remembered.

Yup, left the car with Rais, as I couldnt find the time. He checked and found out that 2 plugs were short in functioning. He changed all the 4 plugs and the car became fine again.
But now I am again over the Copper plugs :-(
Thanks God, the coils still didn't need replacement ;-)

I am facing two problems in my 08 liana with factory fitted Landirenzo Omegas cng kit. I bought this car used a couple of years ago. Its in a good nick altogether but I had to replace the ignition coils soon after that as the car was missing badly on CNG, was better on petrol though. But even after all expense, I am not satisfied with its performance.
1. The main problem is that whenever i accelerate the car, on CNG from idle, the engine hesitates a bit, but as soon a it crosses 2k rpm it picks up fine and things are even worst when ac is on, On traffic signals i have to accelerate till 2~3k before i release the clutch to get the car into the motion. On petrol its better but I can feel it there too..
2. Second problem which may be related to the first problem as well is that during normal driving, whenever i lift my foot from the gas pedal and then put it back, it takes a bit of a jerk ("Hauka" in local term) before getting into pace. It can be felt on petrol too but the magnitude of it is lot less then that of CNG.
I have seen many 3S for this problem but none of them have been able to rectify these problems. Most of the time they are interested in replace this replace that, blah blah....
Any help in this regard from your side will be highly appreciated.
I think I need new paintwork done :p. No matter what I do I can't seem to get that 'wow' factor. Not even close :p. Just rambling. I know its been discussed before.
SanPak is Sanden Pakistan, the only authorized reseller for Sanden company products, mostly Air-conditioning systems. They are also authorized vendors for Suzuki and Toyota as these cars have Sanden AC units installed in them.
In short any car that is manufactured here with a Sanden AC, gets its parts from SanPak.
They have AC workshops also in different cities catering the corporate and end-users as well. In karachi (though I have never hired their services) the persons there look pretty decent and professional. I have met them just for an advisory purpose.
Seems like the coils used are Chinese stuff. If not then your spark plugs with wires might need a replacement.
If above else is fine, then its time for a some head related work.
Do you feel any missing while it is running, or fluctuating RPMs at idle?
