My liana used to give 220+ in ISB city driving. I travelled twice from ISB to Khi on this car. Upon leaving from Khi I easily crossed Hala with the gas filled from Khi.

It was all stock FF CNG 2008 Rxi. It is correct that the gas supplied to Photohar region is from Musa Khail gas field and from Karak gas field they have have high calorific value hence gives better mileage. So is the case that gas commercial sale price is highest in this region and Sindh have the least sale price

Quite true... Infact that is the reason k hamesha Karachites low gas mileage ki complain krte hain

Yes, there should not be any effect of Battery change on RFID chip that is installed in the key. The RFID chip, which is related to immobiliser, works without any battery as it works on EM induction & does not need any cell power. This is the reason there is no battery in the keys which are without remote. The battery is only for wireless transmitter & has nothing to do with chip programming. I twice changed battery of mine car's keys & no such problem occurred.

Once my keyless stopped working without any reason. I changed its battery but it refused to work. So what I did was opened the key & cleaned the small terminals of battery & the copper points under the rubber buttons with spirit. It is working perfect since then. You may try this but be very careful while cleaning the terminals as they are very delicate.

If the above doesn't help you then check the fuse of keyless entry in the fuse box. One of the two will solve your problem.

Try to clean the greasy dust particles under the buttons of key. If that also does not help then check the fuse of keyless entry.

Bro change the battery. Even new ones are dead sometimes.

In previous pages some of the key function issues were solved by letting the battery terminals disconnected for the night.
@TM you can give it try.

I don't think it's worked on it, there is Suzuki own patent software for liana.

Salam to all members of Liana fan club. I am about to buy my first car and Liana 06/07 seems to be the best option for me in my budget of 6 to 7 lacs. I will learn to drive on it and I have no prior experience of maintaining a car before. Considering this fact I need opinion of all the Liana owners here if Liana is the best option for a beginner like me.

Also, I would like to know the following things too please:

    1. How good is the resale of Liana? Will I be able to sell it off easily if I wanted to buy another car after a couple of years?
    2. How economical is it's maintenance/spare parts?
    3. Which mechanic is best in Rawalpindi/Islamabad for Liana?
    4. What are the things I need to keep in check to ensure best maintenance of Liana?
    5. Why is Liana so unpopular? What are the reasons?

I will be very grateful to all of you guys for sharing your experience with me.

    Thanks everyone!

Resale should not be a problem as your are already paying less prics...
its not that economical maintenance wise its economical in running though
    ask RWP members
it should be running fine on cng and petrol both
cause its a bit difficult to maintain....if you gat a faulty one....
    Sharing is caring....

I might have to move aboard in a few months. Will be able to sell it off within days if that happens? I've heard it's resale is really bad and that is the only thing stopping me from getting this car.
