Well you are right but i don't have any other resources at that moment and 3k include the repairing of other injector which has some electrical issues.

I will go to the 3S and have them test the rail with another injector first to confirm if something is wrong with it.

Dear All, I have a budget around 1.3 Million. Should I go for a new Liana or a new Swift (DLX). I'm slightly tilted towards Liana, because its a sedan but I've heard the Swift is more reliable with better resale (after 3 years or so)
I want a relatively maintenance free car (which for three years a new car should be in any case).

If you want to buy Liana then go for a used one because of bad resale and apprehension that it might be discontinued from production line(i've personally got a liana rxi it a good sedan and value for money)but go for swift if you want to buy a brand new both has same engine but swift's pick and fuel consumption is good from liana.

My car was missing on CNG during the early summers. I went to the 3S and they did all sort of things including insulating the coils and plug towers. When they attached the laptop with Landi software to the kit, it showed that the injector #2 was firing a bit weak. After clearing the code, the kit worked fine. Then the problem came back and they cleared the code again.

I solved the issue by changing the battery connection which was almost broken. Now the issue is back and I am considering changing that injector IF that is the real issue. I wanted to get a feel for the price to see if it was a cheap enough fix to go ahead with.

Have you checked the power line fuse that is supplying current to the CNG kit some times rust builds up there giving the same symptoms. In near past another liana owned faced and solved this issue by only cleaning the contacts of fuse.

If you could find a LXI version go for it. This liana got ABS brakes which is really good additive to this car.

dear all...just sharing a small experience and it has made me really understand why these EFi cars are not for every mechanic...in short...never ever trust a single opinion of a mechanic and a doctor

my car was badly badly badly missing on petrol but was ok on cng...this issue started around 2 months back...i went to my mechanic..he said 'bhai ignition coils end per hain, ye change honge..aap ko kisne kaha tha liana lene ko?'..
my father was like fuming in anger as he said that original coils are over PKR 20k. he said that he'l take my car to shershah and kabuli ones will cost 8k or so.

khair, we kept running the car..went to a cng wala, he said aap ki car ka aik 'cylinder leak hai'...poora head khulay ga etc etc.. i drove away..

i went to another cng wala...he said scanner lge ga, saray sensors check honge phir estimate dunga, which could be high...i again drove away..

i was talking to my generator repair walay uncle as my home generator was having some issues..i said if he can see the problem of my car..he said kahan hai car?...he opened the bonnet, and just said k 'no issue of ignition coils, warna car cng pe rula deti'...it was a bit of relief for me..

then again, i went to another very trusted mechanic...he simply kept my car on petrol and made direct connection of each injector, one by one, through wiring coming from emulator..the 2nd from left was not getting current from emulator..jiski wajha se petrol pe missing ho rahi thi he said to go to a cng wala...i went there...he said, emulator change hoga...2600 ka hai new..aur repair nahi ho sakta...i again drove away

then , i went to an electrician at mukka chowk...know him with a corolla owner's ref...he took out the emulator, and just 5 mins of working on circuit...and my problem is gone... - total kharcha Rs 400!!!

Bottom line: This whole story is my very own experience - not my chachas/mamus/cousins told story..just for benefit of my fellow PW bros!

NEVER EVER RUN AFTER OPINION OF A SINGLE MECHANIC
