Secondly there cannot be a surge in voltage under normal operation(means once the engine is running) and output voltage depend on winding of the alternator and unlike DC generator, would remain roughly constant with very slight variation (1V at most). The DC generators voltage surge with increase in rpm. For Alternators Hz surge. The brightness in light that one sees while reviving is caused by increase in Hz and due to this increase in Hz the duration of ripple from Diode bridge decreases.
My Liana never used to shut down when removed battery terminal nor i have seen any other car doing this not even 2013 City and 2012 Corolla. Theoritcally only thing that could fry if terminal is removed with excessive load on alternator is its diode bridge and Cutout circuit. While engine started i have checked many times , system voltages vary around 14V and they remain same even with the battery removed.
But let me get hand on some other Liana to see if mine was the exception ...lolz ..
Brother you chose to ignore the rest of my post and picked just one point which is exactly what I said (cars of 60s and 70s) FX doesn't count as it is an 80s car

Now let me break my post down for you:

1- Those old cars had carburetors and dc generators.
2- Liana has an alternator instead of a generator and a voltage stabilizer and an ECU.
3- The ECU will shut the engine when it senses no battery.
4- If it doesn't, the spikes from your alternator will fry not only your ecu and/or other electricals, but also the diodes in your alternator.

Here's a link for reference: Don't Disconnect the Battery with the Engine Running

It is brave of you to this as I would never do this to my Liana knowingly! Let's see it this way. 3 people have survived the Niagra falls in modern history; it doesn't mean you should jump too

It IS science and these cars are designed by engineers. liana Owners & fan club -1565795

The fuse is in a plastic case very near to the positive terminal of the battery.

Kerosene will damage your paint and all rubber and plastic parts in engine bay. You will have electrical shorts in the future.

Petroleum products attack many kinds of plastics. It's better to keep away from petroleum products and use a safe degreaser. Oven cleaners should never be used either as they contain caustic soda which is harmful for the aluminum, plastci and human skin and eyes.

One can use detergent to remove tough grease spots as well but they need to be dried afterwards.

And service stations spray oil, is it fine? What about applying oil beneath the car during service?
