@Skill is right. It needs to be pressure tested but I didn't recommend it as the mechanic doesn't seem to be able to handle thr most basic of repairs.

Sent using Curiosity's onboard communications sytem.
I have previously adviced him to change the mechanic as well. The issue he is telling is very basic in nature regarding the cooling system. There can be many factors in that, but it needs a close examination of that.
Proper examination might take even more than a half day. It will never fix if mechanic every time take it as "masla yeh lag raha hay, yun kerkay deekhta hoon, aap phir eik aadh din chala ker batayo..."

I have also extended him a helping hand if he needs to troubleshoot the issue at my mechanics workshop as well.
I don't see any reason why this issue can't be fixed.
We have around 3 different model/specs LIANAs in my group and time to time they have given cooling system issues, but they have been fixed. The issue was never persistent like this.
And there were multiple issue like of leaked radiator top, faulty Fan grip, jammed T-Stat (my cars), leaking radiator cap... But all such issues were identified and fixed, and never there was a single case of burnt Gaskit or any Head related issues.

@abid110 the moment you uploaded the picture of your car's engine bay it was my first assumption that your overflow pipe is soaking the fan grip which is covered in a shopper bag.

Do some one can tell me about washing of engine of liana, I red the whole topic of washing liana engine but some question left that are,
When applying tab water after 10 min of applying of engine washing spray/compound, when we apply tab water does we use little pressure of water or gently apply water on all engine, & after water does we need air for drying of engine, & we take care of gas ⛽ injector I mean to say can we also apply water on gas ⛽ injectors or not ?
    I hope members guide me.
    Thanks

why so? our altos fan was auto too, but nechanic made it direct .we ran the car for over 50k km without any issue and then sold it...

almost all cars on roads run with direct fans just to save from overheating..why not if it is really preventing overhe@ting?

@abid110 You probably are going to make people on this forum relearn the basics of science .
Well let me elaborate it simply , every metal on getting heated increases its volume less or more so is the pistons and piston rings which are made of metals .When they increase their volume on optimum temperature of a an engine ,they seal the cylinder walls thus protect the exhaust gases and unburnt fuel to seep down through the walls of cylinder and mix with engine oil so keeping themselves and cylinder lubricated .
Now let say, your car's engine is not running on the temperature it is designed for, pistons and rings are not swollen the limit they should ,unburnt fuel and gases will seep through the cylinder making it less lubricated into the engine oil chamber .When your rings will not be lubricated properly they will start resisting inside cylinder thus becoming the cause of heat and deteriorated cylinder and consequently will seize the engine someday .

Use engine degreasers and rags at first ,if you must washing the engine then use a proper product ,you may use turtle's presoak ,spray it with air pressure on a dirty engine ,agitate the rust with brushes of different sizes and kinds, you may use proper detailing brushes .
    Caution !
Keep your hands gloved when using presoak as it is acidic .
You need be careful ,don't soak injector wiring and other sensors ,better wash at home and use tumbler instead of hose of water.
