Try spraying WD-40 first in the assembly area joint (I think its not sealed).

WD40 is good for removing moisture amd tempirarily lubricating but not recommended for electrical connections.

Just took out the 1.3 because it was a bit abused and the car would not want to move when the ac was on. So far it not running 100% have some minor knocking issues. Im running it on high octane to eliminate knocking but getting much better mileage than the old 1.3 i would say previously i would get 9-10 with intermit ac use in city now with the 1.6 i usually get 12-13.

M16a is perfect for Liana the block height is equal to radiator means no air locking issues like m13a and m16a has more torque and is more fuel efficient due to under square design

Engine bore to stroke ratio play important role in torque, revving ability, fuel economy, reliability
Engine can be classified in three type in respect to bore to stroke ratio
    1)under square block
    2)over square block
    3)square block
Under square engine are the one which have bigger stroke than bore e.g m16a (bore:78mm stoke:83mm) over square engine are the one with bigger bore than stroke e.g m13a (bore:78mm stoke:69.5mm) square engine are engine with same or nearly same bore and stoke for e.g m18a(bore:83mm stroke:83) and m15a(bore:78mm stroke:78mm) the bigger the stoke gets the lower end torque increase high revving ability decrease as piston have to travel longer and losses more energy due to friction and due to taller stoke piston bears more wear and tear too hope it helps

Second for m15a vs m16a m16a any day becoz m16a share parts like complete head (valves, shoms, cams) piston with m13a etc plus eaiser to source in scrapyards

No. It uses electric motors and does not even have fan belts.
