    @ncognito59.. Bhai, do you wanna buy Auto Tranny in Liana ??? if so, you must be aware that the only Auto Tranny available in Liana (Local Assem) is Eminent and it comes in 1.6 Petrol only.

    I own one since August 06... The drive is really good...

    @RL... bro, I do remember you, having an argument for Liana to be NOT a good option...

    Congrats on your WISE purchase.. Dear just get a hold of the 1.6 and try it out.. You'll forget the Steermatic also, though Steermatic is a good car also but Liana's 1.6 DOHC engine has its own Nasha specially when you drive it on Petrol...

    You see, You can never judge a car until you own it yourself... Most of the people at PW give comments like, my friend has it and it has this problem or my mamoo or chacha has it... I say, the only comment counts is of the owner's and nobody else's...

    Cheers Bro...

    -- drum-roll --

    GOT MY Liana Eminent couple of days back !!!

    Its basically like Lxi but with 1.6 L petrol only and 4 speed Automatic transmission. Great drive, getting used to the size because jumped up from a Cuore A/T. Very silent and very smooth drive have to look at the speedo to avoid getting tickets maybe a configurable beep would help :p

    The user guide says that needs a 1000 km running in so I am easy on the thing but it has got a lot of juice.

    I chose Eminent Blue color like the one in the original post of this thread.

    Slapped Bridgestone potenza's on it, got beige leather seat covers, looking for a front seat arm rest with a box kind of thing, used a smaller one in my cuore.

    Could not find anything not working as expected. The tranny is intelligent and counters human error in forward shifting which is impressive on the other hand it does shift from P(ark) to R(everse) without requiring to press the brake which is a bad thing but cuore was similar so I hope my habit will save me

    @tazzix... Congrats.... wanna race

    Don't tell me that you didn't change the tyres till yet... if you haven't, get rid of the Stock tyres ASAP... "General" Kills the pleasure and ruin the suspension.....

    @incognito: thanks
    @noiseless: thanks man, so far so good. The car has some nifty little things which others lack. Turning on the dome light when using keyless entry is a no brainer but not many cars under a million rupees have this feature.

    driving cross country could be an adventure but I would at least wait for the M4 from faislabad to multan (or DG Khan) the rest of the roads are good enough. Especially Islamabad to Faislabad motorways and the GT Road from Rahim Yar Khan to Karachi is also drivable.

    @smali99 thanks, well for non FF CNG @newton can provide some info. But my info is that you have the choice to go for a conventional kit or an expensive SiS kit for approx 85k+. Logas is the champion on that, in short SiS kit has injectors like EFi petrol injectors while conventional kit has all sorts of other gadgets to interface the car's ECU (SiS kits have a CNG ECU).

    If you are going for Lxi or Rxi I would recommend FF CNG because it does not affect the warranty and you'll have to go to one place only in case of any troubles.
