Just my two cents, we should avoid white lights in headlights, especially such high intensity HIDs. They are often problematic for the driver in front and also can prove hazardous in such situations. Also they are not legal as well.

You are right that's why i have installed these projection lamps so that other drivers at night should not be disturbed. In my case the low light is just below the tail light of the front car. so either from front or rear view other drivers will not be disturbed.

this is LHD (left hand drive) beam pattern, RHD (right hand drive) have opposite elbow (the flick up is towards the left) - the reason for the flick up is to illuminate road signs which will always be on the passenger side of the car.

If these pictures are of your car then you are essentially blinding drivers coming in the opposite direction.

You absolutely right sir i did spent a lot of time figuring out that my car should get cold air intake.
I did tried to find K&N Apollo which has an extended pipe for adjusting it where it can get fresh and comparatively colder air the engine.
But it was way expensive in Lahore. So for now i am adjusting with the Mushroom hoping that while car is on the move it will get cold air.

the reason the original airbox is colder than any other pod filter you can mount is because the airbox essentially sucks fresh air and not heated engine room air.

It will get hot when the car is stationary in traffic but will cool down quickly as soon as the car moves.

The pod/cones get blazing hot and move stale air in the engine room, they also have giant holes in them which cause rapid wear of the engine as those huge holes pass dirt/sand/debris in the engine.

So this the reason the proper cold air intake by manufacturer are rooted to fender of car so that they get fresh air and not the air present in engine bay

Why you want a tubro ? M13a already have good higher end torque and tubro in city driving would almost never kick in plus hassle of maintaining tubro engine in pak etc a super charger would be a bit better choice still do you want to open up the engine and change to forges piston con rods etc ?

A bolt on supercharger kit is available in Singapore and Thailand. Very easy to do it yourself as well. The torque curve will be sweet with it.

I toyed with the idea of aftermarket air intakes and filters for years but could not find any evidence of colder air and better filtration plus additional power during my research so never opted for it.

I even thought about oil bath air filters but the fear of oil vapor getting into the throttle body stopped me.

Hello senior PakWheelers. I have recently purchased a 2006 Model Suzuki Liana RXI in good mint condition. Please tell me about the mechanics and auto-workshops that I will need to be aware of in Lahore as I need to take my ride for initial maintenance.

    P.S., Awesome thread!
