The dark patches you guys see under the carpet are covering up surface rust with rustoleum rust reformer after sanding down to bare metal. Since I am going to keep my car for a long time, I am not going to cover this up with any additional paint and will keep inspecting under the carpet on yearly basis

Btw, also bought a local product from KK Traders. It's called Rust Converter. I am using it for treating minor rust such as you can see on the underside of the driveside seat in above pictures. Seems to be working amazingly well!

In my case the entire chimta wasn't bad but just the "goli". So the steering wheel used to wobble when crossing a rough patch on the road. My foundation is rock solid so can't comment on this.

13K each for rear ones (Japanese) and 5K each for front ones (Karachi made, but technology used is Japanese as told by the Suzuki 3S friend of mine). The Karachi made are locally called "B" shocks. Notice that spring prices are not included since I only changed the shock absorbers. Springs are usually fine.

I meant that the bushing is bad actually of a chimta. So, if its bad, car will not run smooth and make strange sounds?

Yes it will make a lot of sounds and it is going to be very damaging for the front suspension frame as well. You should put in a new bush as soon as possible. Won't cost more than a few hundred ruppes for the bush.

Yup. I've had very bad experience with "Kabuli" suspension parts so in my opinion its best to spend once than to cry every few months. Plus, bad suspension can cause serious body damage to your car so no point in going for cheap alternatives.

hey guys. so i finally bought a suzuki liana ..ill post pictures soon. need some help.
first off,its thermostat is missing. actually engine was replaced with swift's engine and it lacked t-stat.ive purchased t-stat from suzuki for 2k but for installation, they have given me time of next sat. do any of you guys have changed t-stat from any other person? I asked about charges and they said installation will cost about 1200. is it ok? i know its valve is installed in an awkward position and intake manifold will have to be taken off to reach t-stat housing.
2ndly,its dashboard has cracks.any way to cover those? i dont want any covering on it.is it possible to just have grey part of dash changed?
3rdly, its RPM meter is set a little above the 0 mark.i mean even when car is shut off,its rpm needle stays a little above 0 mark.how to open its meter?
4thly,how much kmpl a good tuned liana gives in local on long and local route? im getting about 11-12 in local and about 15 on long.
5thly, its factory fitted cng but i want to sale its cng kit and cylinders. how much should they get sold for? and what things will need to be changed if i remove cng totally?
    REAL men drive manual cars!
