Is there is more then one petrol ⛽ settings for liana by using tech 2 (suzuki ecu callibration tool) or only one. I am asking that because a guy that is before in pak suzuziki 3s says there r 2 setting 1 & 2 1 for moderate driving & 2for hi picks and sporty drive.
But suzuki taxila motor says this option is not available.
    Any info on this ?

    Q) why a engine with 4 valve per cylinder (like m13a) losses its lower end torque if stock intake is replaced with cold air intake ?
    You must be joking.

There is minimum 50hp gain on cold intake. Top speed of car rises too. Gaari khul ke saans leti ha.

the IAC valve surface is like a zeolite bearing, it already holds oil in its surface matrix. If you remove this oil by cleaning it then you get metal to metal contact which will wear out the IAC.

    Its common sense.

Senior members please guide what should I do? Got it repaired or replace with imported (Kabli) 1.6 engine. The approx cost of both options and recommendation.
Better replace with Qabili engine......... its just cheap in price and also go for replacement of radiator too

whoever told you that is out of his mind,

the tech2 will show you two readings of fuel trims one is called block learn and one is called integrator. In classic terms they are

block learn = long term fuel trim
integrator = short term fuel trim.

the long term's job is to keep the short term near to zero. but a long term too high (more than 15%) means the engine is seeing less fuel due to either starvation or air leak or bad measuring equipment. In such case the engine will balk on acceleration.

replace that actuator motor, its stripped internally.

What about "Thermostat switch"? I haven't read about any such term in the service manual and I was of the opinion that Liana only has a thermostat valve in it whereas ECU controls the fan. Is this "thermostat switch" for 2006+ models or is it some yet another desi term for something that actually has a different name in technical terms?
