    Thank you for the appreciation.
Its all depends upon the consistancy, you may get the results if you spend some good hours on your ride, not much difficult but REMEMBER be ready for the "DAANT DAPATT'' from your wife/family because of spending your time with your ride on a good holiday

Bro I experienced this issue 2 years ago after the rainy season and one of the dealerships told me that the whole clutch assembly would have to be changed

I did not buy it and as soon as the weather became dry, the issue got resolved. Happened again in the last monsoons and now it's fine again.

One service manager at a dealership told me that it was the moisture inside the shifter cables, and this seems like the most plausible explanation.

Thanks @Skills for the information, the prices and the pictures of the CV joints.

Surprisingly, my Liana's left side CV joint is making a ticking noise at just 75K Kms, which is extremely low keeping in mind the way I drive. Chinese CV joints on my charade lasted for 150K Kms until I sold her and they were still good to go.

Even more surprising was the price estimate I got from a Suzuki dealership... 35K for one side!!!!! I am seriously thinking I would have been better off keeping a Mercedes or a BMW if I have to pay this kind of prices for parts.

What more, the 2 fan belts cost 8K at the dealer!

and then we wonder why Liana is not a "market car"? Don't get me wrong, I love my Liana and would still prefer it over other options, but these recent experiences left a bad taste in my mouth.

PakSuzuki certainly is not interested in selling their cars, at least Liana.

Liana is not in the menu in PS new year's price hike so I think they have ended its production from the start of this year.

    I still love my liana.

One more question; Is the "genuine" CV joint really "genuine"? If it is, then I guess the price tag of 6.2K is justified.

    Default Radiator Problem

    Dear All:

My car heated up in 1st week of Jan 2012 and needed the gaskit to change.
My mechanics changed other parts as well including clutch plate, clutch bearing and rings among many other small things. I have Jan 2008 model...and think it has done 100,000 KMs before I bought it in Nov 2010.

After this work everything seems OK. but...

Five "lines" of my radiator were blocked by the "radiator guy" due to leakage. This leakage according to him was due to putting Toyota's high quality coolant which remove the rust and opens up the leaks. My daily round trip is around 100KMs to work and I am told to restrict myself to around 100KMs only.

The band new radiator, here in Karachi is around Rs. 20,000/- are there other otpions out there?

The learned here are requested to please help me decide options with moderate budget.

    Thanks in advance.
    NK.
