    Mass air flow sensor? I saw that code on my car when my accelerator cable was a bit tight. I loosened that and it went away. It turned out that this was disturbing multiple sensors because throttle never fully closed so i was facing maf sensor code, cmp sensor code and iac valve code all at once

    Bad clutch symptoms include slipping clutch, low acceleration on high rpm, lost pick, increased gas mileage and overall significant power loss. Excessive play in clutch pedal also indicates worn clutch. As far as coils are concerned; weak spark, missing, rough idle, power loss, hesitation when revving up from a dead stop. But no definitive sign exists. You have to check things manually because these symptoms are shared by other possible faults as well such as bad fuel injectors, bad or wrong spark plugs, weak fuel pump or clogged fuel filter etc.

    There is no missing of gears/clutch neither any play...but yes hesitation os there esp alot in 2nd gear...so it could be coils too? Car still on ff coils after 120k kms.

    Ideally there should not be any. I can accelerate my car from dead stop on second gear instead of first, without any problems. A lazy oxygen sensor can also be a big (and i mean BIG) suspect. In your case, your car runs without thermostat so the oxygen sensor is never activated. It only activates when engine runs at optimal temperature with a thermostat. Without oxygen sensor working, your ecu remains in open loop i.e., it keeps on dumping fuel into the engine thinking it's still cold. Hence the pick is worse. When engine reaches operating temperature once thermostat starts to open, o2 sensor is activated and that is called "closed loop" operation mode. Now the oxygen sensor is driving the ecu and naturally pick is much better in this mode. In your case your oxygen sensor never kicks in so you can imagine.

    My temp needle remains at middle. Means engine runs at optimum temp.
