Bro that is not a fuel filter.
That is like u can say pumps filter so that big dust particles don't block the pump. Fuel filter is a metal fuel filter having one entry point one exit point.

That little plastic grid type filter is the outermost part of filtration process (1st step filtration) which only stops the big pieces of dirt from flowing into the fuel filter. The real filtration takes place when the fuel pump forces this pre-filtered fuel from that little plastic grid filter, through the main filter that is inside here.

It's not exactly metal but kind of layers of filtration material formed around a wide metal grid and that's folded up in layers to form the filter.

Also tell me how you opened the fuel tank at home becoz in near future i might give a hit to clean my fuel tank.

I change my engine oil every 1500 km. Replace coolant every 5-6K km. And keep the fuel injectors clean as a part of regular quarterly maintenance (I don't think I'll need this part for quite a long time now that my fuel filter is replaced). And alhamdulillah now when the car starts, it feels like a monster that has awakened ready to be unleashed on the road. The humming sound near the exhaust as it's idling is very crisp and I can feel all cylinders firing in pair when I hold my hand in front of it. Especially ever since I cleaned my O2 sensor and treated my CAT converters with lots of carb cleaner, and now with a new fuel filter, you can imagine how it feels to drive it now

Change the fuel filter as well before your new pump goes out. The primary reason for the fuel pump to burn out is a clogged fuel filter.

Well I explained in the main comment about it. You need a pair of jack stands, raise your car from the middle of the differential (of course use a wooden block or a rubber disk on the jack) and then support it properly at jacking points. Then remove the rubber mounts of the exhaust starting from the back till the two holding the second CAT converter. Then gently lay the exhaust down and support it on an appropriate height wood block to avoid hyper extension. Then open the EVAP canister (3 bolts) and it will come right out. Remember the hoses (which came off from where). It's a good idea to tag them so that there is no chance of mistake. Then open the two bolts of support metal ribbons under the gas tank that are holding it to the car. Support the gas tank on jack stand near the left and slowly lower it. Then remove all the hoses (that's the trickiest part i.e., to remove the hoses without damaging them.) Then disconnect main petrol pipe and electrical connector from the tank and slide it out. It's a good idea to use as much petrol from it as you can before you drop it so that it's not too heavy. Installation should pretty much be the reversal of removal.

Bro since you live in Pindi, could you do me a favour? I need NGK B8ES spark plugs for my Suzuki GS-450E and it seems that Nadir Autos at Gawalmandi (Opposite to Gawalmandi Children Park) is the only place where I can get them. If you could send me a couple of pairs via leopard, I would be grateful. I can't seem to find these plugs anywhere in Lahore and my baby is running poorly on NGK BP6EYs.

I am going to change belts of my 13' liana. Suzuki township charges 1000 labr. And there is a mech
Close to shaukat khanam. He is ex mech of mini motors and might charge 500-600. But they dont have hoist like suzuki 3s have. I want to know which one is better. I can go to any suzuki 3s.
The current belts are 3 1/2 year old and sometimes make weird noise. They are full on tension and cant be further adjusted. I have bad experience of these belts. When I bought my previous 09' liana in 2013. I changed its ac belt only and a year later alternator belt broke down near chubarji and engine heated up. So I dont want to take any chance. Please suggest
