    I dint mention rust as it can come up easily in newer cars too..like in khi, the cars in nearby sea area are brutally rusted although new.. My cousin's zero meter bike is totally rusted, even though its just 14/15k driven only and parked daily at a seaside building...

    The rust problem is VERY bad. It's not just about the looks and feel of the vehicle but the overall security of the people who are riding that vehicle in a major accident. Rusty car will most probably bend everyone in half in a major accident. The reason for this rust problem in comparatively new and less driven cars is primarily due to PIG-3 not galvanizing the hidden metal surfaces of their vehicles in Pakistan, especially the inner surface of the frame in order to save a few bucks. No matter how new a car is, if it is rusty then stay away from it. Just a month back, I saw a brand new Mehran that was only driven for one month out of the showroom and the customer had to bring it to the workshop to take care of rusted side panels as the paint was ballooning out everywhere on the underside.

    I've rust proofed my car by covering it with Rustoleum's Rubberized Undercoating. My car looks flat black from the underside as well as under the carpet. I don't give a damn about the resale value going down because for me, my family's safety and well being comes before the car's looks from the underside and under the carpet.

    My 2006 liana's chrome is intact..but my 2008's cultus and chacha's 2010 gli's chrome is fully gone..

    The 2006 Lianas were mostly imported from Japan and only assembled here. From there onwards, Liana's build quality also dropped like its Pakistani siblings.

    Mostly localized parts are a custom car ceiling which hides the driver side ceiling light holder and has a rough build quality as compared to its Japanese counterpart, dashboard, rear speaker setup, doors and door locks; seats and seat covers, carpets, bumpers, and other than this, no mud shields present under rear wheel wells. Also not to forget, a disaster known as "jenyaan CNG kit".

    fuel average kitni mil rahi sab doston ko on petrol only becoz i am using it on petrol.

    I asked in Bilal Ganj today. Complete left and right pair is available for 9K only. Totally neat and clean. The package does not include the axle rods though.. only outer and inner axles (kuppay & goday). Axle rods can be bought for around 1.5K each side.

    My beauty gives me above 16 Km per litre on Petrol with full AC in the city. Partly because I am running a brand new O2 sensor and a brand new MAP sensor. Both are brand new, not Kabli.

    This Sunday I replaced my car's O2 sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1) with a brand new unit (Price: PKR 14K) and a brand new MAP sensor (Price: PKR 11K). Also replaced the heater core with a genuine company replacement unit (Price: PKR: 14.5K). Some of you might think that this guy is insane but I don't mind bearing nakhras of my car as long as I am keeping it with me The car runs like a dream. Absolutely flawless drive.

    i want to buy the rod becoz original rod idr karachi mei kisi k pass nai sabb 2numbry krtey mje is barr phr se china ka pakra dia rod...jabb original kuppay charhayey to lagey hi nai....mei kuppay ke inner teeth sath le aynga to mje shop ka bata dena mei wahan se rod buy kr lngaa...is barr khud hi krna driver pr nai chornaa kaam.

    Yes. I bought one for my own car as well for the same price after some weeks of buying my car. It had an altered rod at that time which had different fittings on both ends.

    good hogyaa...mje sirf rod lena baki no problem with my liana...fully satisfied daily drive it for 60km...

    Yes you should bring both kuppay in order to check the fitting. Even the inner bearing wali gharaari would do. Sometimes even the part sellers get confused and give you a wrong part thinking of it as Liana's when in reality it is from Baleno or some other similar car. Best strategy is to bring outer and inner kuppay along.
