Default Should i buy liana or not???

Dear Pakwheels users i am Ahmed Raza live in Bahadurabad Karachi.. Bit Confused which Car to buy my range is min 6 to Max 7 Lacs. I prefer i a big car like Suzuki Liana... but many people are saying not to buy liana because it dont have resale value, parts are not available or too expensive, requires mechanical work often.. Plz advise me is liana worth buying? previously i had santro exec which was a good car indeed.. I will highly appreciate ur expert advice.. Liana users also plz tell are there any serious problems with Liana RXI or LXI

What i belive is its better to buy 2006-2007 car in 6-7 lac rather than go for 1996-1999 civic or corolla indus because they are almost end of their life what do u say?

Boss it is much much better to go for a 2007-08 LIANA than other options around 7 lacs.
I myself purchased a 2008 LIANA LXi a couple of months ago under the same price banner. If you choose wisely in car selection you can find real good car under 7 lacs here in Karachi.
Preferably go for Petrol only LIANA, you will find many LIANAs here that have no CNG.
Prefer the car having after-market CNG, if you cant find petrol driven only.
Prefer an LXi or Sports model over RXi. LXi has matching door handles, good alloys and additional ABS which is worth. Sports have only 15 inch tyre in upgrade to LXi's 14 inches and some weird body kits (if you like that).
Do check if all the electronics are working correctly, power windows/mirrors, sensors, dashboard lights etc. A nicely maintained one will usually have all such items working.
Do check if the drive is smooth (vibration less) and car does not make any sort of sound over any angle of turning.
Do check the capacity and condition of the CNG cylinder also. A 60L any branded one (Inflex/EKC) is preferred. And kit should be of LR.

Bro I agree with the fact that it has low resale and that is exactly the reason why you will be able to get a very good deal.

Factory fitted CNG is much better. Because of the illeterate mentality of our lovely Pakistani people, you will be able to get excellent value for money in a used Liana as compared to any other sedan.

"the simpler the better" this is where the after market cng is better,no doubt at all, well maintained ff cng is more calibrated and more appropriate but what we have to do ''have to live in the jungle of un-skilled mechanics even at most of 3s"and every owner is neither engineer nor technical minded.

I bought my family a Suzuki Liana 2007 last year. I live overseas and my family has been in constant trouble. Now i received a call and radiator water is leaking but its not on the ground. I told them not to drive the car as this is dangerous. Maybe Radiator's water is going in engine or something. Can somebody recommend a good Suzuki mechanic who really knows Liana cars and not very expensive too.. I have spent more than 1 lac in last 12 months and i am getting tired of this car. Not many days pass by and i hear that oh car has another problem again.

what are you talking about, radiator water always circulate inside the engine dude.
when your family do not know how to maintain this vehicle, they deserve simple cars.

What do u mean by a simple car. I think Liana is a simple car. What I meant to say was radiator water was not leaking buy radiator was empty after they filled it up and drove for a little bit.

    @asgr8,
Members on this forum dont have such prolonged issues with their rides, there must be some issues with your car which probably are not resolved properly thats why you have to spend intermittently, yes some occasional disorders can happen to any car of any brand.
My dear, get your car checked properly with a wise mechanic or write down the details of disorders of your car on this forum so we could discuss it.
By simple car means, non efi like cultus.
