    Default RPM fluctuation on idling

    Dear all...AOA

My car have very rough idling. The rpm moves up and down itself constantly.engine produces humming sound itself although no foot on accelerator. If i switch on ac, the needle gets mad...it jumps up and down very badly..

What could be the problem? Issue is mostly with petrol only...on cng, it is almost fine...

Will TB cleaning thru carb cleaner help? Is it IACV or engine sucking in too much air?

Plz advise me in detail what to do.

Its a Liana 2006 almost 110k km run mostly on cng.

if it is only happened on petrol than cam sensor or cranck sensor could be faulty but if it happens on both cng and petrol than it could be any part which work on both side like plugs, coil, iginition wirring etc etc

first try this as muradi (a pw member) tired on swift and it work so it will work on liana as well
RPM fluctuation on idling - 1541696 vitz jerking vibrating 1418294304071
it will reset ecu and maybe solve your problem if problem remain after these practice then you would have to go through a scanner test
