Default Car stalls once warmed up.

Aoa guys, car's engine starts getting off itself once it reaches optimal temperature i.e. needle at half..in short the rpms get abnormally low itself....throttle body has been changed too but to no avail...it stalls at the middle of the road and we have to start it again..it happens esp on AC...and only on cng...car is fine on petrol...

This issue has arisen 2/3 weeks before only...please suggest...i suspected the IAC first but its fine..now i suspect coils (maybe)...car is 121k km run and 95% on cng...Liana RXI 2006 non ff cng...

if ur car has advancer emulator check that and its wiring.......then check wiring of generator and its voltage....wiring of cng kit especially solenoid.......tight all the terminals i have mentioned.....and in the end check coils.

I have replaced my alternator around 2 months back...and it is charging the battery perfectly along with assisting all other gadgets..
What do you mean by solenoid of cng? This is the reason i really start hating efi cars as its sometimes so difficult to diagnose even minutest of issues

yes the problem lies in cng kit ...when engine running fully warm up..trun the idle control knob in clockwise direction. a 1/2 turn might be enough...stop (at the point)where idle just start going smoother ..No further>>

if it stalls and doesnt start again, and You have to wait for a certain time to start it again.

Your cars timing sensor is dead. Its not going to show any check lights, and also not going to show up in the diagnosis because it acts like that at a certain temprature.

This usually happens on CNG cars because usually the timing is set advanced in CNG cars.

PS : if this is the issue a brand new sensor shouldnt cost more than 2800-3500 go for a brand new one. Since a kabariya is also going to state the same price.

If coils was an issue the car would be missing on petrol aswell,
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.
