Default Camshaft Sensor and Air intake Sensor of Liana

Dear Friends / Expert of Liana

I am facing issue in my 2009 Liana RXI (CNG) that, it shows faulty camshaft and Air intake Sensor through Scanner (IG motors and another Guy). I have done complete general checkup through IG Motors (They give report on these two sensors and Ignition Cables/Plug Cables). I have replaced Kabuli CrankShaft Sensor, Camshaft Sensor, Ignition Cables/Coils.

I have changed Camshaft sensor and Air intake Senor temporary through my mechanic second time. But problem still unsolved. IG motors has not sensor in their stocks, but these two mechanic told me that, this is not the issue of sensors, this is something else. Please guide!!!

Car is missing at 1500RPM to 2500RPM. sometimes without missing check engine light reflects. Please advice!!

Abid Bhai, today I experienced another serious issue. Besides patakha sounds on CNG and petrol, my RPM continuously fluctuated between 1200 and 2500 while I was driving the vehicle for 30 KMs and then after reaching the destination, I loosened the accelerator cable which dropped RPM to 1000. But still I feel low power.

Also, whenever I shifted the car to 2nd gear, I had to press accelerator very very lightly to move the car. If I press it a little hard, patakha comes and car looses power. Any recommendations???

    1. Check tightness of your air filter box..it should be sealed..if clips are lose, drill a screw

    2. IAC valve ko saaf karwaen

    3. Clutch plates ok hain?

If coils are bad, car is worse on cng and probably better on petrol...maybe the logic is that cng need higher spark to burn which weaker coils are unable to provide..so car miss alot..

Get your clutch plate checked. I had a similar issue and the reason was clutch plate + pressure plate changed and then it was all ok. IN 2nd gear if I used light foot on accelerator it didn't loose power however if I pressed throttle in normal way then it was loosing power. The clutch plate was changed.
    regards

In my opinion brother your coils are leaking Current. Get them checked nd if its hard to buy new one right away.. ask your mechanic to properly seal them with electric tape.

Guys my car issue has been solved by the grace of Allah. I would like to share my complete experience, so that, It may be helpful to anyone in future.

Actually starts from when I took my car for regular checkup to one on Suzuki Worker (Saqib, Mudassir, Mohsin working near Gareeb abad). They changed suzuki ultimate oil (i usually purchase it from IG), spark plugs, shims setting, and wash engine room through Kerosene Oil. When I reached home this problem started.

I again go to same person, he placed his suzuki scanner and found the issue of Cam Shaft Sensor and changed the same. but issue was not resolved. Next day, he changed Crank Shaft Sensor. At the end he advised me to use thick engine oil, because as per his knowledge my engine has been gone. I denied!

Next day, I went to IG motors for complete general checkup, they said, vehicle has issues of Ignition Coils, Camshaft Senor, Air In take Sensor. But they do not have sensors in their stocks and cost worth for Rs. 17,000/- around for each sensor.

Then, I visited to Jamshed Road (Kit Zone), he referred a person at Bahadurabad Danish (Near Saleem Bhai, opposite Medicam Round about). Danish claimed himself a awesome electrician, he gave me appointment after 3 days. Within 10mins he switch my car on direct petrol. issue has been resolved. He said, this is issue of ECU card, and charged me Rs. 1,500/- but he did not find ECU card for me.

Then, I called to Energy Zone through a reference of OLX guy (he was selling ECU card, but same was sold). Owner of Energy Zone Mr. Jamil is a nice person, he referred me to Landirenzo Frenchise Mr. Rehan near NMC DHA. I visited to his shop, he spent three days on car, he had changed many CNG things, even ECU card, Crank Sensor but issue was not solved, he just charged Rs. 500/-, and referred me to visit Naseer Autos (SITE).

Then, I visited to Naseer Autos, they spend first full day of 7 hours, but they did not find the issue, after Eid, they found the issue of wrong SPARK PLUGS (not matched with recommended number or specifications). They changed spark plugs and Ignition Coils, as old spark plugs became the reason of damaging ignition coils.

Now, my car is Okay, I learned the lesson that, for the purpose of engine, we should only visit to Suzuki Dealership only, and for other purpose, we can rely to any mechanic.

Thank you nomee bhai.... yes there might be some problem with clutch plate and pressure plate.... I had changed them last year and my mechanic changed with some taiwan made clutch plate and kabli pressure plate. My car hardly climbs a small height at normal RPM... for this I have to accelerate it around 2500 like that.... also it gives visible jerks on climbing.... But at normal roads it moves quite better way.....may be you are right.... any idea how to check clutch plate or pressure plate???

Shahid bhai, I was having the acceleration issue when climing some bridge etc, more RMP were required to accelerate the car. Therefore I went to a Suzuki 3S, they told me its clutch plate issue however I didn't get it fixed from them as they charge too much. Later I went to my mechanic (I live in Gujranwala) and he also stated the same issue.
He just tested the car on neutral by putting hard foot on accelerator. Later he opened the unit and found that clutch plate, pressure plate and its barring were out of order and he replaced the set with Japani parts (sourced from Bilal Gunj) which cost be (including labor) around 11k. now car has completed 14k and running smoothly. regards
