Actually hatchbacks use to be more fuel efficient because of there small engine , if good fuel average is something that you are looking for than you should get a hatch back , may be a 660cc or 1000cc, and if you are willing to buy a JDM then keep it in mind maintainance will be an issue because of expensive spare parts !!

Go for a VXLi model. It has power steering, power windows, alloy rims & colored side mirrors. I have it back in pak & alhamdulillah it has never given me any trouble.

Cultus is aslo good , but i will suggest coure over cultus it has 850 cc engine that is more fuel efficient and a very good engine though !
You will save some money as well because you will get an excellent coure in 500k .
