Default LIANA Boost in Power by +20BHP

    Hi,

Saw this add on E Bay claiming that it will boost the power by +20 BHP. Could anyone advise, specially would it work on the CNG Lianas in Pakistan.

Racerf1, thanks for the swift reply. Would agree that £4.99 is cheap, but the question is would it cause any harm to the car. Spacially with the CNG driven cars, and how do the thing work anyway.

the guy has good feedback so far (only 4 negative ones), still i always doubt such things otherwise more reputable companies would have already done it....

Still i fiver spent on this isn't such a bad idea.

The module modifies any standard ECU by telling the ECU that the incoming air in the intake system is cold and so advances the ignition to compensate producing more power. In many cases fuel economy is increased too. Power is increased by up to +20BHP and torque is increased significantly

A good clamping circuit that can be assembled UNDER 100 RS will do the same or you can visit Peshawer for all sorts of silly mods that use nothing more than a splice and a light switch. lol

this chip is nothing but a resistor . They will ask you to un plug ur IAT sensor grip and plug this resistance to the grip .

4.99 pounds means what more than 500 rupees , you can do the same mod in just 1 rupee .

you just need an ohm meter for this.
get up in the morning when the weather is cold , popup the hood of ur car un plug the grip if IAT sensor located on the air intake pipe , measure the resistance of the IAT sensor which should be something like 2k - 4k , what ever the value is go to hall road buy a resistance of the same value and plug it into the IAT sensor grip and thats it. Its going to do tha same as this 4.99 pounds chip is gonna do

Thanks for your infomative replies, 611 and Logas.

The question that I asked at the beginning remains, will this chip really do what is claimed?, will it work with our CNG cars? and will it do any harm to the engine at all?????.

    Regards
