    Default Help regarding LIANA!

    aoa
    dear pakwheelers!

there is a problem with my LIANA 2007 Rxi cng just 35K driven. Its coil got damaged for 3rd time. I have had checked it from many mechanics but they say there is no problem with it but coil quality is such that it gets damaged regularly. I got it checked from madni motors lahore through computer but they say every thing is Ok. so I want to ask if it is due to cng or electric wiring is faulty. If any other LIANA owner faced this issue then what was solution and reason given. Please suggest me solution other than selling it out. Thanks in advance.

actually its pick gets down and on low rpms its hard to derive. it gives a small blast sometimes when on low rpms it gets off. i have not only checked it from suzuki guys but many other mechanics. I have never washed its engine. 2 weeks one coil was changed and it worked fine and now mechanics r saying that other coil is down. I have asked all of them reason they say there is no fualt in the engine or any where even they checked through pc and it gave no issue.

    AoA Kashif,
I have not seen this issue myself been using a liana lxi cng from dec 2006. I suggest going to a different suuki dealer to get it checked properly.
I agree with @Newton the suzuki people tried to reset change my cng settings as well when i went for a routine checkup i didnt let them change anything and may be thats y i have not had any issues.

i am owner of Liana Rxi 2008, i would like to share few tips with all the owners

    1. Don't wash your engine yourself, ask suzuki dealer to do service washing, if you wash yourself or any regular service station then it may not work properly on CNG, like missing or feels like chocking. try to just ask your washer man at petrol pump to clean engine with air pressure. keep your car away from water as much as possible.

    2. if you feel that CNG pick is not good or car is chocking then reconvert the CNG to petrol manually and then convert is back to CNG. the computer will get new readings.

    3. regularly clean the Air filter with pressure air.

    4. wax your car regularly, this will reduce the air friction and increase the car pick and fuel economy.

    5. Regularly check the accelerator cable if it's loose then it may effect the car performance during gear shifting.

    6. keep your baby neat

    Regards...

    @alwaysalive80
Waxing your car for more fuel economy??? Where did you get that idea from?

Hasnain2005 is busy these days but you might just like to ask him. He is a proud owner of a Liana too.

The polish + friction thing is something fascinating indeed. what is all that about?

well try to do some online research. the resistance in air is indeed effecting the fuel economy. but becasue of wax, the air will slip easily from car body, it's very every car, not just Liana and it's a "Tip" to increase fuel economy.

i am driving a car from 15 years...this is my personal EXP!

    cheers!

i think it's about 7% but it will definatly give better result on high way driving especially when we drive against the direction of air flow.

the paint easily get rough after washing with pressure wash and daily sun abuse.

waxed car will be better in road grip as well becasue the aerodynamics of the car will equally minimize the air friction...especially bonnet. i am not saying that it will result something totally extra ordinary but it do makes difference.
