    both can be done.....either head from a g13bb of baleno for sohc and head from gti for dohc conversion

    you need the complete head with intake manifold and original gaskit and wiring of the new head....all sensors will be of the head you will be using .....with same head ECU..


    alot of these conversion have been done america when swift was offered with carb 1.3 and buying a gti was expensive

    still in america and Australia these cars conversion require alot of money but in pakistan parts are not that expensive......

    to be better thing will be to replace the whole setup...... though cost saving figure is very low

    Ooo Mara Baleno ka Engine fit karwa loo, yara Margalla is not that much good car that u want to convert it to EFI, by the way y u r interested in converting it to EFI??

    i an interested in converting to efi with same engine because i love the music of the genuine engine,it feels rather manly unlike the new coROLLAs.but i think efi conversion will improve fuel economy and performance both without losing the sound.

    i doubt dis bicoz i heard gti is 1.6l while margalla is 1.3

    Mara conversion is not that much easy job OK,
    u need to mount lots of sensors + actuators + lots of wiring + an ECU

    better to stick with ur non efi engine & be happy with ur Old & Golden Technology,

    he want actual engine of margalla with EFI setup..
    i dont think its practical...or even it is,nobody in pak ever did this i guess...

    with head swap ...it will be all different

    ppl do just to keep the orignal engine ..as the engine number is on block

    head means ..the upper area of engine..includes cams and valve and springs etc

    m not talking about the GTi baleno though which is named buy pak suzuki which is nothing special in compare to japanies hatch balneo 2 door with j18 engine

    I am talking about the 1.3dohc came in Mk1 and Mk2 gti sports car..also known as khyber and cultus in pakistan

    Sit i think what you are looking for is something not practical

    best is to swap the engine.....those efi have better sound...better millage and performace then margalla stock engine
