Exclamation URGENT! Margalla's interior heating up badly

    Hi Everyone,
I really need someone's help on this, its so ridiculous my mechanic can't find a reason.

I own a 95 Margalla, from past one month car's interior is heating up for no freaking reason. Engine's temperature is fine the heating gauge stays normal, no heat is coming through ac blower.

The damn interior! surface under the seats, rear car floor goes up to very uncomfortable level of heat. I thought may be the exhaust pipe is causing something, I got it replaced yesterday but still when I drive it only 4KM at 40KM/H the interior starts to boil :-(

Please any Margalla owner or any other car's owner if experienced such annoyance you'r feedback would be a great help for me and specially for my dumb mechanic.

Thanks & look forward to hearing back.

    Junaid.

i would suggest to check for insulation on ur car's interior. remove all the seats and carpeting and check from what is causing the problem. I had a similar problem not with the whole floor but the area behind the pedals on both sides, i replaced the carpet along with underlay and it was all set.

check that the sheet metal exhaust heat shields are in place. They are U shaped channels that are found above the exhaust pipes. Also make sure all holes in the floor and the firewall have their proper rubber plugs.
