<style type="text/css">P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }</style> AoA,
I want to change tyres of my Suzuki Margalla. The current tyres are Dunlop LM701 175/70/13 and have worn out.
My priorities (in order) are:
Safety / Reliability
Road Grip (in Dry & Wet Conditions)
Control / Steering
Resistant to Deformation Caused by Potholes
Smooth Ride
Low Fuel Consumption
Low Noise
Long Lasting
The car is mostly driven in Islamabad / Rawalpindi with occasional trips outside city. The speed remains under 130 KPH most of the times.
In this context, I have following questions:
What type of tyres will be more suitable? Soft or Hard?
Is profile 175/70/13 right for my requirements? I would prefer not to change the profile unless there is a solid reason behind it.
Which of the following brands and their specific tyre series will be a better match to my requirements? Michelin, Yokohama, Bridgestone, Dunlop
Are there any "authorized" distributors / dealers for these brands in Islamabad / Rawalpindi? Their contact information will be helpful.
If there are no authorized distributors / dealers for these brands in Islamabad / Rawalpindi, then what tyre shops one can go to without worrying about counterfeits (2 No.)?
My budget is around 25,000 but I would not mind spending some extra for better tyres and to buy them from an authorized distributor / dealer.
I would highly appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
Regards.
