You are absolutely right tsah15 bhai.
The local assemblers also support the Vending industry down the line, and buying a locally assembled car is much better choice than getting a completely Imported car, which supports no one except the importer's wallet.
All the countries that have the capability to manufacture/assemble cars support their own car brands or local made/assembled cars over imports
Just a general observation, lets take Saudis for instance. Most are good people in general, they Muslims so we Muslims should respect one another. But look at the rulers and general public attitude toward Americans, bend over backwards to the Americans and their products. GM and Ford are making huge profits in Middle East while obtaining big losses in US, the home market. Thats another story, why, mainly due to non-production related overhead costs like Healthcare expenditure and retirement payouts. But anyway.
Who knows, what will these Americans do to them tomorrow in Mid East. America can never be trusted, just ask, Iranis, and Iraqis, both were America's puppets in 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, look at how America is treating them. Look at Pakistan, how this Uncle Sam has kicked us around, but we Pakistanis atleast have realized and now are trying to build our country on our own.
The main thing is support your own people, your own industry, then you can have a respectable standing in the group of Nations in the world.
