Yeah The Car Revo Itself is far better than Mehran, but the Supplier are spoiling the party now. Its basically the supplier's fault, as Adam Motors has capacity to built 12,000 to 15,000 per year on double shift basis, but what can they do if the SUPPLIER like battery makers, tyre makers, brake part makers, etc. are taking too long to give them parts to be put into Revo.
I Hope that these Suppliers work alittle faster but they too might have reasons. They are also supplying to their Long Term Customers like Suzki, Hyundai, and Other car makers, which have long term contracts with these suppliers and have built deep relationships, so the suppliers give them the parts first and then handle the new commers like Adam Motors a little later. Otherwise, Adam Motor's demand is not much, they are just making 5,000 to 6,000 Revos a year, atleast thats what they said, and on the other hand Suzuki is pushing out atleast 40,000 to 50,000 Mehrans a years, so obviously, Suzuki people must be able to get all the necessary parts from all the suppliers and their delivery time is also 4 to 5 months, if I am not mistaken, but they eventually get them a little faster than probably Adam Motors might, this is just my opinion, due to Vendor longer term relationships with assemblers like Suzuki Motors.
At the end, this is hurting Pakistan, becomming a Car Maker.
Adam Motors should make all the parts in house, and maybe that is their plan, but for now, they need all the financial support they can get and eventually once they are in market for long time, they will have enough cash to invest in all the parts to be made in their own facilities and deliver cars to the customers much faster than all the other assemblers.
