thats stupid IMO, slipped belt = dead engine.
It would be ideal to leave the sensor assy on the back of the engine and make a cover for it, just move the distributor cap and rotor to the front to run off the cam bolt or a spider to hold the cam sprocket, A bracket needs to be made to mount the cap and ideally should also hold a bearing for smooth operation and it should also have a shroud underneath the cap to protect from spark shorting. The plug wires would run from the cap to the plugs in reverse order.
The timing would be adjusted at the normal dissy position while the front just fires the plugs. (the rotor has enough surface area to make timing adjustments)
This is literally the dizzy relocate kit that is available in japan for the AE86 - its pretty simple to fabricate in Pakistan, just takes some imagination and a little hard work.
