Mr. " Roms " has explained it very well. Respect for your wise knowledge.
besides roms defined the Flow/Velocity Vs. Emitting Gasses very brilliantly.
Many people don't understand/realize this imp. physics.
Mr. Roms is right increasing PIPE is'nt the solution. PIPING calculation is done accordingly to the Cubic Caloric power of the engine.
It is very sensitive & smart physics. Needs proper calculation & mathematical mind.
Besides all piping & stuff, Catalytic Converters/Mufflers/Flex Pipes/Steel Blade Pipes/Resonators/Dual Muffler HAVE nothing to do with the FLOW. They are just there to CONTROL Emitting Gasses for the health environment control + Sound Control of ur vehicle.
REMOVING all those stupid things between exhaust is the BEST thing for YOU.
But then you will have to be carefull about vibration & exhaust flow/velocity control.
Some people have mis-understanding that TurboCharged Vehicles need BACK-PRESSURE.
ANSWER is simple NO! NOT AT ALL.
Your vehicle Turbo is already creating an AIR-Back pressure to the engine for Air-Intake,
it does'nt needs that filthy burned exhaust back! NOPE! its Disgusting!
The BEST thing to do with TURBO vehicles is to GET THEM FRESH AIR-INTAKE from outside ASAP by fitting a PIPE/SNORKEL etc etc.
FRESH air is GOOD, just like humans like it, ur vehicle loves it, cause our poor vehicle is working very hard to move us FAST FORWARD!
FRESH AIR is the KEY.
BUT JUST like we need AIR-In / AIR-Out, the same physics is needed for vehicle to work PERFECTLY.
AIR-IN / EXHAUST OUT should be in perfect order.
Some Vehicle owners develop systems to get MORE & MORE AIR-IN means more FUEL BURN, more FUEL BURN= MORE EXHAUST DEVELOPMENT. IF No Exhaust EXIT, then Enormous Back-Pressure Development while more AIR is already under intake. It becomes the WORST CYCLE !
AIR-IN AIR-OUT should be considered simultaneously!
