So then i would need another Tee to put the thermo sensor on the lower pipe. Should the water temperature sensor also be shifted to the lower pipe? If the upper pipe is hot, i think the water temperature would be more accurate with regards to the engine temperature.
However, if the upper hose is always hot, why does the water temperature gauge show a cool down by several degrees in few minutes when the fan turns on? Is it that the surface of the temperature gauge is less sensitive to heat then the thermo switch?
