for sure this is a thread for FLi_GTi. he'd love to shed some light onto the whole myth behind the wankel/rotary engine.
Just so you guys know, they wankel/rotary engine is phenomenal in terms of power to weight & has only about 3 moving parts where as conventional piston engines have at least 20!
If only we could get these engines serviced propperly they'd be more successful, but sadly not may people in the whole world know how to fix a wankel/rotary engine so they stick with the ancient piston engines (whose design has changed very little from the gas powered industrial piston engines - predecessors of the gasoline powered piston engines)
