im still here to add some confusion :d
i think what storm was saying is that if 205 on 16 inch doesnt touch inside , 205 on 14 wont touch it either
so if ur going for 205, u can go with them on any rim size
second thing what he said was keeping the overall diameter of the tire to its original,
this means the oversize of ur new tire should be equal to overall size of ur orignal tire to avoid any speedo meter blunders.
here what storm calculated
original diameter of tire+rim=583mm
you'll have 581mm wth 205/55R14
i'll have 591mm with my 205/45ZR16's
now calculations with 15inch as u want
u will have 565mm with 205/45/15 ( overall ride hide is 2cm lower than original
u will have 606mm with 205/55/15 (overall ride hight will be 2cm higher than orignal
