AOAbrothers i have civic 95 .my brake pedal is going down to floor .i change master cylinder but no solution.secondly if some drop of water goes in brake fluid reservoir what will happen.
check ur brake lines first, bleed all four feels and then fil it with new brake fluid, you should replace brake booster along with your master cylinder.
brake booster ka kya kaam hota hey mechnics says booster is ok
Drop of Water in Brake Reservoir: Nothing happens as Brake Fluid is hygroscopic. It affects the boiling point of brake fluid, once contamination exceeds then brakes becomes dangerous in hilly areas.
there is a vacuum leak in ur system. brakes r auto adjusting so worn out pads dont cause the paddle to go down.
every thing is checked no vaccum in booster no oil loss.one thing can a new master cylinder need any nut adjustment in civic 95
yes the gap/free play needs to b adjusted. checkout the service manual
