Difference between CNG & LPG car models? who can tell me?
Between these two LPG and CNG gases. CNG is more safer gas than LPG. CNG is in gaseous stage where as LPG is in liquid stage. LPG is in liquid state and turns out in gaseous state when comes in contact with atmosphere. LPG spreads in air in case of leakage and seeks a problem of fire. CNG is heavier gas and hence flows down thus it is more safer than LPG. CNG is cheaper gas also. and now as per government rules and instructions metro cities run buses and transport vehicles on the basis of CNG engine which is not only safer but environment friendly as well. Previously I have Maruti Wagon R in LPG version and now after the launch of Maruti Alto 800 in CNG engine, I replace my Wagon R with the new Alto 800. The car gives the excellent performance and mileage.
I think both are equally safe considering the equipment is original one...blasts occcur in locall made or fake branded cylinders
