AoA Sir,
Hope you're doing well...
I needed advise on a problem that I've been facing since the past couple of months.I have a Suzuki Kei 2006,also known as a mazda laputa. The car vibrates during idling and it gets worse when the ac is turned on,i've replaced all the engine mounts as well although that did improve things a bit but the vibration is still there. The engine feels underpowered when the AC is turned on.
Another thing worth mentioning is that it goes away when I rev it upto 2000rpm,I've consulted a couple of mechanics and most of them have said that since I replaced the compressor with a Sanden one which puts more load on the engine that has been causing the issue.Besides that I was reading that the alternator sometimes might have a faulty clutch leading to vibration? Oh I'm running a sound system as well it idles at 14v without it and 12v with it turned on.
So my question is whether if I should change the compressor or get a bigger alternator if that helps? Any other alternatives/Suggestions like which one to get for this particular vehicle?
Looking forward to your reply,
Thanks.
