Hi everyone ...
Need help with a problem in an Opel Corsa 1.2, 1995 model.
Recently smell of petrol was noted inside the car. On inspection, it was found that fuel was splashed around the place where the fuel pump is installed ( under the rear seat ). The trend is that when the car moves and the road is a bit rough, some fuel spills out from the fuel pump place and causes the smell. So, the location of the fuel leak is clear.
Just wanted to know would it he appropriate to just seal off the opening in which the fuel pump is installed (and from where the fuel splashes out) using silicon sealant ?
thanks
