Is there any way to convert 660cc 4wd car into 2wd? So that it becomes more fuel efficient. I m in izlamabad so pls help if you can give a tip
simply remove the rear wheel drive shaft & stash it in store. Rig it back into the vehicle at time of sale. BTW there is switch to enable / disable 4x4 mode in almost every 660 cc 4x4 vehicle have you tried it. Unless the vehicle is repaired locally after right-off shipment from Japan to PK
There is no button of switching it. My mechanic once told me that its all 4 wheels are connected directly with gear. So there is no option of switching it.
it is useless to ask without vehicle make and model details.
After removing shaft... is there any possibility of being better pick and average e.t.c or it will remain same.??
I have subaru stella coustom 2007 Model, 660cc..
This is the back internal view of car.
Isn't there two gear shifter in the car if there two shifter than just the one which shift the gear of fw
goto your favourtie fuel station top up tank from a dispenser remember that dispenser & station. note down odometer reading use vehicle and when low fuel warning appear goto a workshop & remove the rear drive shaft, 20 minutes job [ save the bolts & shaft ] goto same fuel station & top up the tank note again [ that reading is with both shaft connected ] the odo meter reading. for the 2nd time when low fuel warning turn up top up fuel again from same dispenser & station the difference in odo meter & fuel required to top up the tank is the net affect of with & without drive shaft.
@capsat Hhaha bro no problem of english. Now the problem is u know any mechanic in ISB or RWP..? Who can do this for me??
brother, removing a shaft is a very easy job, you can do it by your own even, a mechanic, even any mechanic truck mechanic or wagon mechanic or car mechanic will do it in less than 10 min
save your shaft and bolts etc with you
there are 3 to 4 gear shifters like a benz unimog in this car
