Dear members i need help i was caliberating tps when opened the throttle plate there was some oil in intake manifold ...what can cause to leak the oil into intake ....
a bad pcv valve is the most probable cause
Where is pcv and how to treat it
pcv is connected to the intake manifold, tappet cover and air intake, you have to find something that fits the description.
it sucks oil from tappet cover back to the crank case, if it is blocked, oil goes into air intake
Ohkii..... Kindly give me procedures to clean the pcv
Small amount of oil residue in the intake manifold is not a problem.Pcv is one way valve which allows crankase gases to be sucked out by the intake .just clean your intake regular.
no need to clean any of this. Such deposit on the throttle plate is very normal in usage.
Xulfiqar it was engine oil in intake ..i m not talking about black carbon deposits in intake manifold
