Yes still drivetrain loss is considered to be between 15-25% depending on the drive wheels or layout. But I am not sure what the factory do to measure the Hp or are they gross or net hp posted by the manufacturers in the brochures. But they sure do post a different picture don't they
As for the Porsche the crank ratings were at 381hp and whp 308. Yes with GT3 version the dealer gives you the actual whp of the car, unlike the other models.

Well something about the Dyno we use and why we chose it. It is Dyno Dynamics dynamometer which is the most accurate dyno out there in the racing field. But compared top Dynos like Dyno jet or Mustang dynos , the Dyno Dynamics shows lower numbers which infact are more true numbers since this is a loadable dyno and can be used tune cars. By Loadable meaning it can mimic conditions that of a track or drag strip with different load capabilities. I hope by now you knw why we chose this dyno. This is the best and the most true dyno out there.
