@localracer,
The one thing I would like to ask you is that how is a diesel engine a High Maintenance Engine? Kindly elaborate!
In my opinion the important thing is to change the engine oil , oil filter and fuel filter and air filter on time...........but this is also true for a gasoline engine.
Moreover in gasoline engine you have to change the spark plugs for efi and carburetor engines. In carby engine you have to worry about the spark plug wires the distributor the coil and the adjustment of carburetor. NONE of these things need to be done with a diesel engine!
Also you have to adjust the valve clearance for gasoline engine on a Regular basis (called tappet adjustment by our drivers).
So guess there is a lot of maintenance for Petrol engine as opposed to Diesel Engine.
Correct me if wrong
Thanks
