Thank you, I am very honored. We have to become the Politicians for things to change in Pakistan, and head towards the right direction.
The Politicians in NWFP are way less corrupt then the rest of Pakistan. Yet, they are also very religious as well. I was surprised to see Mr. Hanif Abbasi of the MMA in the suit. I thought he was bearded, shawal kameez wearing MNA, however he was clean shaved and wore a suit today, wow, an MMA.
Yes, We have to change the politics of Pakistan and become the Politicians. Look at Mr. Khusroo Bakhtiar, a young London raised Politician, who came back to Pakistan won in the MNA, and now is the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
I do also know that Javed Malik, of ARY-One, is also interested in eventually becoming an MNA in the long-term future as well.
Yes, this will take long term. Plus, this focuses the concentration away from the major cities of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and in to areas where there are major investments needed.
We may not be able to sell this idea to the already established industries in Pakistan (Infact, I hope some of them don't listen due to their greedy premiums, etc), but we can encourage the new Foreign Companies like BMW, Volkswagon, Renault, and Mercedes to do this, and Domestic companies like Adam Motors to do this.
I oppose building a New Motor City, we should just take an already established city and build the foundations upon it. Then the overall road conditions, etc will improve.
If I had a million dollars, I would really look for the right partners with integrity, passion and who are visionaries to help establish these ideas.
Not all politicians are corrupt, but some of the big names are, as we all know. We just have to show the uncorrupt Politicians that we will help them become stronger. It was sad to see Dr. Tahir Qadri, of the PAT resign from the Parliment. I do hope that the PML ousts Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, then we can lay down the foundation for development. He has been a "Quiet" liability in the development process.
