1. ## Changed Rings,Pistons,Velves of my mehran

Hi friens i have recently done works on my engine because i tends to drain engine oil almost 1litter/1000km.
But after changing rings,pistons,inlet and outlet valves,Crank and cylender grinding Alhamdulillah car is now working gr8.
After precisely calculating bore and stock now the new displacment o my car is nearly 925cc.

Now car performance is much better even on ac.

5. It total cost me about 18000.Because First engine oil have been changed at 300km from onward normal oil change is reqired.

6. ya bro i have calculate all measurements by using vernier caliper to calculate more precisely bore and stoke of cylender.

can you explain how you exactly calculated 925cc.

you have increased the bore size but the length of the stroke would remain same.

12. I think that all of the above statements are being made by someone who is in need of crash course of 9th class physics.

Simple formula of calculating displacement of an engine is {(pi)x(r)^2x(h)}x(no of cylinders)

where pi = 3.1428
r = radius of cylinder (bore)
h = height of cylinder (stroke)

By doing above calculation you will get the volume of single cylinder, then just multiply it with the number of cylinders an engine have then you will get the total displacement of an engine.

So either by increasing bore or stroke then end result will be increased diplacement.

I wonder how many of the folks here have cleared their SSC exams .

Engine capacity (cc) or size is determined by the size of the cylinder (bore) and length of the stroke (the distance it covers from top to bottom in one complete stroke). So in this case after the use of so many years the gap in which the piston moves got wider, so now the new original size piston would not fit perfectly, to cope with that problem new bore gap with 25% more diameter (usually) is created and 25% larger piston gets installed (usually called 25 ka cylinder), so this increase in the size of piston results in the size of engine capacity (cc).

say the mechanic to install adopter on the second plug, he would charge you 50 rupees and your problem would be resolved for a considerable amount of time.

and referring a mechanic to some one is a risky task, find a competent one near your home.

20. as the engines capacity is increased by 129cc, that means now ur cars fuel efficiency has decreased. as i have read that the bigger the CC of an engine, the more fuel guzzler it is..so are u experiencing some slight decrease in the mileage of ur car it was giving before or is it the same?
